Irish Linen and Mezzotint

Irish Linen

Sometimes you have an image that you just need's a little more added to it. The Irish Linen could be just the trick. A little more ridgid than some of the others yet very beautiful.

Mezzotint

The Mezzotint pattern from a distance will cary like a grain look. But upon closer inspection you will see that it is actually more of a wormy pattern. If you have a negative that is slightly out of focus, (or you missed your depth of field) this would be an excellent choice. Since the line is crisp it helps to create the optical illusion that you have somehow done something to sharpen up the image.
